What is your current Marketing focus at Acer?
The transformation in becoming the center of excellence and leader of digital marketing across all available platforms, customer touchpoints and customer segments.
What is your current challenge?
Working in an ultra-competitive environment like the PC industry is always an exciting and challenging journey. Our never-ending mission is to create “blue oceans” and new market niches to position Acer as a leader and innovator and to stay away from all these toxic price battles. We did a great job over the last years in positioning Acer & Predator as one of the most admired gaming brands worldwide and being top of mind within the esports community. And we will repeat the same success story with the newly established sub brand “ConceptD” to address the commercial segment of modern creators. Definitely much more to come over the next years.

Hajo Blingen is Vice President of Marketing in Europe, Middle East and Africa at Acer, responsible for all marketing and demand generation activities.
In a career spanning more than 20 years with some of the industry’s most innovative and tier one brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Electronic Arts, LG, HP and Asus, Hajo is widely acknowledged as strong marketing leader and a catalyst for creating new and innovative marketing strategies and concepts. Under his leadership Acer has transformed into a love mark brand that is highly respected among the gaming segment and premium customers in EMEA.
Hajo graduated with a master’s degree from the University in Aachen, Germany.
